He depicted May 28 as a miracle, which was born after genocide from migration, poverty, illness and death, when the black clouds were invading our blue sky. And here it came, the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, once again like another “Sasountsi Tavit” to save the nation with his hero, Aram Manoukian. He continued by speaking about the importance of this independence after the demolishment of the Soviet Union, and said that our nation wouldn’t have regained its independence if it hasn’t been recognized as an independent nation before. At the end, he said that our nation is exhausted of the moral victories, but May 28 and the Artsakhian Battle came to contribute the real victory to Armenians. A special program was prepared by the students of Arm. National “K.Guibenkian” Students, where the elementary choir gracefully performed two songs on the occasion, the secondary students danced an Armenian dance, charmingly recited poems, and played two pieces on flute and guitar.
